I started writing the series after we inherited a beagle puppy named Shelley. She's brought so much to our family that we wouldn't be parted from her for a moment, or maybe sometimes. Lol! You see, she can be very mischievous at times. One of us has to keep an eye on her at all times for fear of finding she's wrecked the house or worse!

Despite her occasional annoying antics, she is so cute and loveable that we can't stay angry at her for long... well who can be angry at a dog for behaving like a dog? ha!
